Kaamps7 on Sylt
Today we are visiting what is probably the hottest island for Germans at the moment: Sylt.
Sun, beach and sea await us at Kaamps7, the "Sunset Location", which is considered the westernmost gastronomy on Sylt. Tim, the manager of Kaamps7 is already waiting for us to show us his restaurant and the beach kiosk.
Tim can now look back on 25 years of experience in gastronomy and the hotel industry. He has traveled all over the world, both professionally and privately. Ultimately, however, he and his family made the decision that there is no more beautiful place on earth than the west of Sylt.

Tim - operations manager
"We can't offer cocktails to 500-700 people. Let's stick to the gin and tonic, that's the highest of feelings. Well, and then you came. And now we have cocktails, 7 of them."
Tim and his team serve around 1000 guests at the beach kiosk and around 500-700 people in the restaurant every day. They attach great importance to professionalism and high-quality products.
So it happened that Tim tried out a three-digit number of pre-mix cocktails in the course of his career in order to be able to offer his guests drinks. However, the conclusion was always the same:
"Too sweet, too much fuel, not enough fuel, not enough taste. At some point we got to the point: we can't offer cocktails to 500-700 people. Let's stay with the gin and tonic, that's the highest of feelings. Well, and then you came. And now we have cocktails, 7 of them.”
Tim tells us that kukki cocktail is now an integral part of the daily offer and that it is very well received.
On 06/15 was officially the start of the summer season at Kaamps7. Tim and his team are looking forward to the upcoming rush through the summer holidays and to being able to welcome visitors again after lockdown & co.
Unfortunately we have to go back to visit more friends. Even if it was particularly difficult for us to say goodbye this time. After all, we were in one of the most beautiful spots on earth.
We know that the proof of the pudding is in the eating! So we need some more information from you.
